Location: Waynesboro, PA 17268, United States Base Pay: $56,160 - $106,080 per year Sign-On Bonus: $2,000 (select locations) Job Category: HVAC and Refrigeration Required Degree: High school Job Description Walmart is hiring a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to support repair and maintenance of refrigeration HVAC equipment across Walmart retail locations. The role requires commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills, use of hand, digital, and power tools, and proficiency with a work order management system. Minimum Qualifications 2 years of commercial refrigeration HVAC maintenance experience Type I/Type II or Universal EPA certification for refrigerant handling Valid state‑issued driver’s license and clean driving record (passable MVR) Minimum 18 years old, high school diploma or equivalent Job Duties Maintain and repair Walmart facility refrigeration HVAC equipment using commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills and tools. Utilize the work order management system to receive and document repair work orders for stores and associates. Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls. Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues. Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely. Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations by following Walmart safety policies and environmental guidelines. Lift up to 75 pounds, work on ladders and at heights as required.
