Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: CVOR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Heart experience required, pediatric CVOR experience preferred License: Missouri or compact license and Kansas license required Certifications: BLS and ACLS required Must-Have: - Previous charge experience preferred - Travel experience required - Medication/dosage testing with 100% pass rate required Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse for a CVOR position. Experience in heart care is required, while pediatric CVOR experience is preferred but not mandatory. The position is for a 13-week contract with day shifts scheduled from 06:00 to 16:00. The nurse will need to be available for call approximately 10 days per month. Late shifts may also be required as needed. RNs must have both a Missouri or compact license and a Kansas license. Those contracted for the main campus may start with the Kansas license pending, but must provide documentation of application. Only AHA BLS and ACLS certifications will be accepted. This facility operates as a smoke-free environment. Most travelers will float between two facilities within the same health system. Medication/dosage testing will be conducted in the first week, with three attempts allowed to achieve a passing score.
