Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical (Travel, Nights)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, alternating weekends) | 8-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit during night shift hours
• Manage a patient assignment in accordance with unit staffing ratios
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using the facility's electronic medical records system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and deliver safe, effective patient care
• Adhere to facility policies, protocols, and dress code requirements throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proficiency with Cerner electronic medical records system
• Permanent address must be located more than 50 miles from the facility

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical setting
• Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to new facility environments and workflows
