Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN Circulator for an Operating Room position requiring at least 3 years of OR experience and a TX or compact RN license.

Details

• 6-operating room surgical unit providing a wide range of services including general surgery, bariatrics, gynecology, robotics, orthopedics, plastics, urology, and select vascular cases
• Day shift schedule from 06:30 to 15:00
• 13-week assignment length
• On-call obligation required

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• Minimum 3 years of operating room experience required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

• Coordinate patient care throughout the surgical process
• Ensure the operating room is properly prepared with necessary equipment and supplies
• Verify patient identity and procedure prior to surgery
• Maintain a safe and sterile environment throughout procedures
• Work closely with the surgical team to ensure efficient procedure flow
• Monitor patients during surgery and document care accurately
• Serve as a key advocate for patient safety at all times
• Radius rule applies allowing local candidates at a reduced rate that varies by state
