About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) to take on a newly defined executive HR leadership role. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and leading HR strategy, with a focus on workforce initiatives that enhance retention, engagement, and performance. This role involves supervising and developing a team of HR professionals, coaching center-level HR managers, and serving as a trusted partner to senior leadership on all people-related matters. The CHRO will also be tasked with owning home office HR functions, ensuring compliance across multiple centers, and leading sensitive employee relations issues. A key aspect of the position is the development and implementation of career paths and leadership programs that align with the organization's culture of care. Applicants for the CHRO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in HR, business administration, or a related field, with a Master's degree preferred. A minimum of 7 years' of senior HR management experience, particularly in healthcare or long-term care, is required. The ideal candidate will have a track record of progressive HR leadership, be adept at driving change, and possess the confidence to advocate for both the organization and its employees. Critical thinking, data-driven decision-making, and a proactive, innovative approach to HR are essential. The role demands a professional with a thorough knowledge of employment law, experience with HRIS platforms, and the ability to manage HR vendor relationships effectively.
