The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care within various healthcare settings across the United States. Minimum Qualifications:

• Current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of employment within the United States.
• Completion of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or equivalent.
• Demonstrated knowledge of nursing principles, patient care techniques, and medical terminology.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a clinical or long-term care setting.
• Additional certifications such as IV therapy, wound care, or geriatric nursing.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Ability to speak a second language relevant to the patient population served.
• Continuing education or specialized training in areas such as chronic disease management or palliative care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide basic nursing care to patients, including monitoring vital signs, administering prescribed medications, and assisting with personal hygiene and mobility.
• Observe and report changes in patients' conditions to registered nurses and physicians promptly to ensure timely interventions.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting care provided and any significant observations.
• Assist with medical procedures and treatments as directed by healthcare professionals, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and post-treatment care instructions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, infection control standards, and facility policies.
