Electrical Validation Engineer - Server DomainIndotronix International Corporation, a 25+ years old organization providing Contract Staff Augmentation to direct clients like ATOS, Xerox, Accenture, Cap Gemini, Verizon to list a few.Title: Electrical Validation Engineer - Server DomainLocation: Santa Clara, CaliforniaType: Fulltime/PermanentJob Description & Skill Requirement:Experience required:Experience in server domain with understanding on x86 architecture, CPU, GPU and IPU, AI acceleratorsExperience Performing validation testing on motherboards, server systems, and associated components (CPUs, GPUs, memory, BIOS, BMC, I/O, storage, networking) - Test bench set up and bench testingConduct in-depth troubleshooting and failure analysis (FA) on complex hardware and software issues, working with design teams to identify and resolve root causesExposure to hardware schematics and layout & fundamentals on basics of Electrical circuitsKnowledge on LSIO, HSIO and DDR memoryProficiency in using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic Analyzer, DMM, VNA, BERT, packet generator and Thermal chamberTest plan preparation, test setup creation and test execution, Test result analysis and report generationIssue/bug triage and reporting to Designing teamPreferably Knowledge on all electrical interface standards and protocolsBIOS and UEFI programming and ValidationKnowledge on Python or Pearl scripts - Testing automationWindows and Linux OS experienceWork closely with hardware design, software, mechanical engineering, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and communication of validation results.Skills:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experienceExperience with system and rack validation, including functional, power, performance, and stress testing and evaluating critical data and resultsFamiliarity with server architecture, BIOS/BMC, and high-speed digital interfaces (I2C, SPI, USB, PCIe).Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication and collaboration skillsProficiency in testing automation with Python script.All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
