Accountant (Contract-to-Hire) Hourly Rate: $30.00 – $33.00 / hour (During contract period)

Job Type: Full-time, 9:00 A.M - 6:00 P.M

• Understanding of general accounting principles, GAAP, and ASC standards.
• Experience working with ERP or accounting software (such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar systems).

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets (including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUPs, and financial data analysis).

• Soft Skills: Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• General Accounting & Close: Preparing/posting journal entries (payroll, commissions, revenue, accruals, allocations, and inventory), assisting with monthly/quarterly/annual close activities, and handling balance sheet reconciliations.

• Asset Management: Managing fixed asset and intangible asset accounting, including additions, disposals, depreciation, and amortization.

• AP & Cash Management: Processing vendor invoices, handling vendor inquiries, assisting with cash disbursements/checks, performing bank reconciliations, and administering corporate credit card programs.

• Reporting & Analysis: Preparing P&L schedules, supporting internal management reporting packages, assisting with debt/lender reporting requirements, and analyzing financial data to support business decisions.

• Compliance: Supporting state and local tax filings, business registrations, and gathering documentation for audit requests.
