Position Name: CT Technologist -Imaging Specialty: CT Technologist, Imaging Start Date: ASAP EmploymentType: Full-time, Travel, Contract, Temporary ContractLength: 13 weeks-Accepting Local and Travel Candidates Pay Rate: Range $1980 to $2235 weekly Gross pay (Non-taxabletravel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers) Unit: CT, Radiology Shift: 12 Hours; Days, Varied shifts, typically, 7a-7.30p (Traveler can opt for weekend only shifts) Position Requirements X-Ray experience: 2 years –Required Experience with Philips/Siemens Equipment:Current/recent – Preferred Prior Traveler or Contractexperience – Highly preferred Education, Licenseand Certification Requirements ARRT (CT)Certifications - Required AHA BLSCertification - Required Job Description Sets up andmonitors computer operation of C.T. equipment per patient. Transfers andpositions patients utilizing accepted standards of safety and proper liftingtechniques. Applies immobilization devices as necessary. Provides required patient identification.Obtains vital information from patients concerning known allergies andpertinent medical history. Properly preparesand injects contrast media intravenously into appropriate patients as neededfor examination to be performed as protocolled by Radiologist. Makes and developsimages for permanent file of each patient. Records all studies on magnetic tapefor future reference. O rganizes dailypatient schedule in cooperation with work-room technician. Maintains imagequality following department guidelines. Daily calibration and quality controlof equipment following department guidelines. Assures proper repair ofequipment is performed, follows MRMC protocols for imaging procedures. Responsible forelectronic/digital image capture, storage, transfer, and copy. Monitors patientsfor allergic reaction and takes proper action as needed. Assist with emergencymedical situations, including providing basic CPR. #J-18808-Ljbffr SAGE Group
