Compensation is based on skills and experience.Key Responsibilities for Quality Technician Include:Test and inspect products at various stages of the production process and compile data from the testsAssist with maintaining quality and reliability of productsSupport the Operational Excellence Manager with the ISO and BRC quality systemsHelp increase awareness of what staff should be looking for to eliminate defects based on findingsWork closely with all departments to continue to improve the level of service and quality provided to our customersAssist with developing and maintaining SOPs in compliance with ISO and Lean ManufacturingIdentify, recommend, and implement areas for Lean improvement/modificationThe Ideal Candidate Must Demonstrate:Attention to detail, organization, effective time management, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExcellent interpersonal, collaborative, and relationship building skills to effectively work with a diverse group of employeesHigh level of customer service; responding promptly to the inquires and needs of individuals, both internal and external to the organizationEffective communication, verbal and writtenStrong desire to elevate quality and safety levels across the organizationEducation, Skills, and Experience:Required: High school diploma or equivalentRequired: 1-2 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceRequired: Gain certification in basic HACCPRequired: Ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions in the English languagePreferred: Two or more years direct work experience in a quality control capacity in the printing industryA Plus: Experience with Lean Manufacturing and ISO quality systems
