The City of Hapeville is accepting applications for the position of Firefighter EMT-I or A. Competitive Starting PayIncredible Retirement PackageDefined Benefit PensionHoliday, Sick and Vacation Leave457 Investment OpportunityJoin the Hapeville Team!Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Responds to emergency calls for fire suppressionResponds to medical calls and transportResponds to Hazardous material incidentsOperates, drive, utilizes and/or maintains various firefighting and medical equipmentOperate a personal computer or other equipment as necessary to complete essential functionsMakes periodic public presentationsFire safety training; develops, plans and participates in Fire prevention/safetyMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSHigh School diploma or equivalent. State of Georgia Basic Firefighter Certification. EMT-I or A in the State of Georgia and Basic Life Support certification. Must possess and maintain a valid Georgia driver's license.The City of Hapeville, Georgia, is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
