Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic school setting near Collierville, TN. Your expertise will play a vital role in helping students develop essential communication abilities, collaborating with educators and families for an inclusive, supportive learning environment.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; CFY candidates considered
Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly valued
Strong communication and collaboration skills, working effectively with students, teachers, and parents
Familiarity with IEPs, progress monitoring, and therapy documentation
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech-language, voice, and fluency assessments
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
Deliver direct and consultative speech therapy services tailored to student needs
Document student progress, maintaining compliance with all regulations
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support holistic student growth
Educate and empower teachers and families with strategies to foster communication skills in the classroom and beyond
Participate in ARD/IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing staff development
