Job Summary
Pediatric and Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) position in Lewiston, Maine. The selected candidate will provide care for pediatric and adult patients with a focus on telemetry, post-operative cardiac care, and management of dysrhythmias. Applicants are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of employment.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours guaranteed per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; certifications including ACLS, BLS, NIH with Cerner experience; minimum of 2 years of clinical experience; 3 years of telemetry experience; experience with post-op cardiac care, cardiac drips with titration, and dysrhythmias management; ability to float to all units except M3.
• Preferred Qualifications: PALS certification; experience with stroke, CHF, A-fib, arrhythmias, cardiac caths/stents, and general med-surg.
• Additional Information: Unit features include 27 beds with patient ratios of 1:4-5. Equipment utilized includes Sigma Spectrum IV pumps, ceiling and portable Hoyer lifts, portable cardiac monitors, defibrillators, and EKG machines. The electronic health record system comprises Omnicell and Cerner.
