Location & Schedule Work Schedule: Onsite – Buffalo, NY Responsibilities Perform a complete range of milling operations on all types of material using vertical mills and tracer-type milling machines. Set up and operate a vertical mill and make all set‑ups using specified equipment. Occasionally develop new methods and machining techniques. Interpret drawings, sometimes work without operation sheets, and make difficult layouts. Work with minimum guidance when necessary. Inspect all work performed and detect unusual conditions, defective materials, and defective parts using different inspection equipment and processes. Qualifications High School diploma or GED preferred. Demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English, and ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. At least 3 years of experience as a CNC Mill Machinist. Enrollment and participation in the company’s “F.A.A. Drug & Alcohol Program” is required in accordance with strict Federal Aviation Agency (F.A.A.) safety regulations. Benefits and Compensation $3,500 sign‑on bonus (subject to terms of the bonus agreement). Hourly Salary Range: $28.00–$32.00 per hour in Buffalo, NY. Annual profit sharing and matching 401(k). The base salary range represents the low and high end of Moog’s salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including location, experience, and performance.
