Join an organization that ensures a more secure world through connecting and protecting our customers with inventive electrical solutions.WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:Lead and develop sourcing team members while fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and professional growth.Develop and execute sourcing and commodity strategies for metals categories that optimize cost, quality, delivery, supply continuity, and overall business performance.Lead supplier selection, negotiations, and contract management activities, building strategic partnerships that support business objectives.Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to align sourcing strategies with business needs.Drive supplier performance through scorecards, business reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.Identify and mitigate supplier and supply chain risks through proactive planning, market analysis, and contingency strategies to ensure business continuity.Leverage data, analytics, and market intelligence to inform sourcing decisions, evaluate supplier capabilities and productivity opportunities.YOU HAVE:Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or a related field.8+ years of experience in a relatively large supply chain organization is preferred.Passion for leading and developing people.Experience directly managing complex categories.Strong negotiation skills including experience negotiating multi-million dollar contracts.Demonstrated ability to think strategically and adapt to a high growth environment.Ability to travel up to 25%.WE HAVE:A dynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every daynVent is a leading global provider of electrical connection and protection solutions. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.Compensation Range:$105,000.00 - $195,000.00Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.Benefit OverviewAt nVent, we value our people and their health and well-being.
