Events & Marketing Associate

Impact House is Chicago's coworking community built for organizations doing good. At 200 W. Madison in the Loop, we bring together nonprofits, foundations, and social impact organizations under one roof, because when mission-driven people work together, something real happens. Events are a core part of how we do that. And we are looking for the person who will own that function, grow it, and make it their own. The Role This is not a coordinator role. This is a builder role. As our Events & Marketing Associate, you will own the full lifecycle of events at Impact House, from the first inquiry to post-event follow-up. You will own and drive our outbound pipeline, using Instagram and LinkedIn as real lead generation tools and developing relationships across Chicago's social impact ecosystem that bring new clients through our doors. You will manage contracts, run pre-event planning, be onsite for execution, and track revenue against targets. You will also create content, drive outreach campaigns, and report on what is working. You will report to our Operations Director and work closely in a small, high-trust team where your work is visible and your impact is direct. You Are a Fit If You Based in Chicago, on-site Monday - Friday Have 2+ years of event coordination, venue sales, or event marketing experience Are energized by client relationships and comfortable being the face of the room Use social media strategically, not just aesthetically Can manage a pipeline independently without heavy oversight Care about mission and want to be embedded in a community that does too Are a self-starter who gets things done without waiting to be asked Bonus Points For Existing network in Chicago's nonprofit, foundation, or civic sector Experience with event CRM or booking software LinkedIn content creation experience for B2B contexts Basic design skills in Canva or similar tools 10-15% commission on events booked Full benefits: 401k, medical, dental, PTO, and more How to Apply Send your resume and a short email (not a cover letter, just a note) about why this role and why Impact House to View email address on click.appcast.io.
