Tool & Die Maker
Pay: $24–$27/hr DOE
Day Shift | Tulsa Area
We are seeking an experienced Tool & Die Maker for a growing manufacturing facility in the Tulsa area. This position is ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude, experience troubleshooting and repairing tooling, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities:
- Build, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair dies, fixtures, jigs, and tooling
- Perform preventative maintenance on tooling and production equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and precision measurements
- Operate manual machining equipment including mills, lathes, grinders, and drill presses
- Diagnose tooling issues and make necessary adjustments to keep production running efficiently
- Work closely with production and engineering teams to improve tooling performance
- Ensure tooling meets quality and safety standards
Requirements:
- Previous Tool & Die Maker or toolroom experience required
- Experience with metal stamping dies preferred
- Strong blueprint reading and precision measuring skills
- Knowledge of machining practices and tooling repair
- Ability to use micrometers, calipers, indicators, and other measuring equipment
- Stable work history and strong attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- CNC machining or programming experience is a plus
- EDM, grinding, or welding experience preferred
- Journeyman-level experience highly valued
