Posting Number: 2026-15562 Location: US-NY-Brooklyn Hybrid Remote Work Classification: Hybrid: 60% to 80% onsite Department: Sponsored Research School/Division: NYU Tandon School of Engineering (PE1001) Compensation Grade: Band 53 Employment Type: Full-Time Union: N/A Category: Finance/Real Estate/Procurement/Grant Management Position Summary The purpose of this position is to provide advanced post‑award grants management support to Tandon departments that need guidance on post‑award grants management, ensuring proper compliance and fiscal oversight of their sponsored research projects. The Senior Grants Manager will be based in the Tandon Office of Sponsored Programs, report to the Assistant Dean for Research, manage a complex sponsored research portfolio, and be primarily responsible for the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. The incumbent will work closely and frequently with the PI to develop the financial framework and workflows that support fiscally responsible management of each activity. Qualifications Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance Required Experience: 5+ years experience working in an academic department, supervision, or managing budgets or equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred Experience: 5+ years familiar with research, technical and/or grant funded environment. Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Excellent organization and communication skills (verbal and written). Proficiency with computers, experience in Excel, electronic mail, and internet systems. Well organized and self‑motivated with good people skills. Able to work flexible hours. Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Proficiency with computers, experience in Excel and internet systems. Familiarity with university policies and procedures, particularly grants and contracts. Additional Information In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $90,000.00 to USD $110,000.00. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
