Position Summary:

This position will be responsible for supporting the Kraus-Anderson (KA) Yard department by servicing internal customers by receiving, processing, and filling orders in person and over the telephone; advising internal customers on prices and materials. The position will also be responsible for tracking inventory.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Accepts phone and email order request of tools, equipment and consumable and documents delivery tickets in ToolWatch System.
• Catalogs and numbers tools to inventory system.
• Labels shelves and creates barcodes.
• Receives, tracks and expedites incoming deliveries.
• Records and calculates maintenance records on vehicles and equipment.
• Prepares purchase orders for Field Superintendents and Yard Personnel.
• Insures transfer accuracy.
• Maintains inventory log of maintenance supplies & Yard consumables.
• Checks out tools to Superintendents & projects based on "Real Time" records of assignments.
• Responsible for Vendor Maintenance forms and W9's.
• Manage yard email inboxes and mail.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• High school diploma or GED
• One year of Construction Sales experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Demonstrated computer proficiency (MS Office 365 Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• Demonstrated knowledge of construction equipment and consumables
• Good verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
• Ability to use time productively, maximize efficiency and meet challenging work goals
• Ability to maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
• Ability to possess and maintain exceptional work ethic as well as uphold company values and demand the highest standard of conduct from self and others

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of ToolWatch software program
• Knowledge of ViewPoint software program

Pay Range: $19.00 to $25.00 hourly, plus discretionary incentive program.

Pay is based on many factors including but not limited to education, skill, experience, training, certifications, and other business needs.

• Frequently sits, stands and talks.
• Occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 50 pounds.
• Vision abilities require close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• Must work and climb on a jobsite to review or inspect work progress.
• Use a computer/laptop/iPad in open office environment with natural and/or florescent lighting
