Description ACCESS Specialty Animal Hospital is looking for a Part‑time Emergency Veterinarian to join our team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community in San Fernando Valley. ACCESS Specialty Animal Hospital – San Fernando Valley is growing and actively adding an ER DVM. This is more than a typical ER role; you’ll work side‑by‑side with board‑certified specialists across multiple disciplines, including cardiology, surgery, neurology, orthopedics, and internal medicine. This allows for real‑time collaboration, seamless case management, and the ability to practice at a higher level of medicine. If you’re energized by fast‑paced emergency medicine but also want the added depth of specialty partnership, this is a unique opportunity to do both. Work Schedule 2 shifts/week | 6 pm – 6 am Compensation $245,000–$265,000 per year, negotiable based on credentials and experience. The actual salary offered will consider a wide range of factors, including skills, qualifications, experience, and location. About You You’ll deliver exceptional, real‑time care when pets and their families need it most. In this fast‑paced environment, you’ll strengthen your triage and critical assessment skills while being supported by a collaborative team. Your work will include performing surgeries, delivering critical care, and maintaining an exceptional standard of service for every patient who enters our emergency department. Responsibilities You’ll provide emergency care for sick and injured patients while also managing hospitalized cases. You’ll assess and diagnose patients, develop and oversee treatment plans, and partner closely with technicians to ensure high‑quality execution of care.
