Community Association Manager

Role Description The Community Association Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Landrum & Greenville, SC, responsible for overseeing the daily operations of assigned communities and homeowner associations. This role includes serving as the primary point of contact for board members and residents, coordinating and attending board meetings, preparing meeting agendas and reports, and ensuring follow-through on action items. The Community Association Manager will manage vendor relationships, solicit and review bids, oversee maintenance projects, and monitor common area conditions to address issues promptly. Additional responsibilities include supporting budget preparation, monitoring association finances, enforcing community governing documents, handling resident inquiries and concerns professionally, and maintaining accurate records and documentation. The role requires regular on-site visits, timely communication, and a strong commitment to customer service and community standards. Qualifications Ability to manage community operations, including coordinating board meetings, enforcing governing documents, and overseeing maintenance and vendor services. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with boards, residents, vendors, and internal teams in a professional and respectful manner. Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple communities, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines consistently. Basic financial literacy, including understanding budgets, assessments, and vendor invoices, with attention to accuracy and compliance. Proficiency with office software and management systems (e.g., email, spreadsheets, document management tools) and ability to maintain detailed records. Problem-solving skills and sound judgment to address resident concerns, maintenance issues, and operational challenges proactively. Experience in property management, community association management, or a related field is preferred; relevant certifications (e.g., CAM) are a plus. High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, management, or related discipline is beneficial. Ability to work on-site in Spartanburg, SC, conduct regular property inspections, and occasionally attend evening or weekend meetings as needed.
