We're looking for people who share those values and want to grow with us.Job ResponsibilitiesGrain elevator & bin operationsOperate weigh scales and grain probes to test moisture levels; examine grain samples for dirt, burrs, hulls, seeds, disease, and insectsCreate weigh tickets using company software to record producer name, grain type, condition, and weightUnload and load grain trucks at elevator and bin platforms; operate elevator legs, conveyors, dust collectors, and distributorsMonitor grain flow, bin capacity, overflow gauges, alarms, and spoutsSweep grain bins, clean boot-pits, monitor water levels, and operate pumps to remove waterPerform general maintenance on elevator structures, equipment, and mechanical parts; maintain OSHA cleaning standardsFlat grain storageAssemble and maintain flat grain storage areas; build bunkers and insert aeration tubesOperate auger and skid-steer loader to move grain into storage; use auger, front loader, or bobcat to move grain out onto grain vehiclesMaintain proper storage coverage; monitor and perform preventive maintenance on dryer fansClean flat storage areas and disassemble and store structures after grain transfer is completeTender truck & deliveryMix and load tender truck with liquid nitrogen or bulk chemicals; read and interpret plat and area mapsSafely deliver product to producer fields to assist custom applicators; connect hoses using couplers and operate transfer pumpsSecure hoses upon transfer completion; complete and submit blend tickets to the custom applicatorEquipment maintenance & customer servicePerform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles and equipment including tires, bearings, brakes, oil, belts, bulbs, fuses, and hydraulic hosesKeep all vehicles and equipment clean inside and out; report unsafe conditions or major mechanical issues to supervisorGreet customers promptly and courteously; resolve issues or escalate to supervisor; assist with loading and securing product for transitPerform grounds maintenance including mowing, weed whipping, weed spraying, snow removal, and grading drivewaysSafety & complianceFollow all company safety standards and comply with OSHA, EPA, state, and federal regulationsAttend educational workshops and company training sessions; stay current with technical publications and industry knowledgeQualificationsWhat we are looking for :High school diploma or equivalent required; higher education and agriculture-related background preferredMinimum 2–3 years of agricultural experience preferredKnowledge of customer service, agricultural labor, safety management, chemical handling, and equipment maintenanceAbility to safely operate company vehicles, anhydrous stations, nurse tanks, elevator equipment, scales, skid-steer, bobcat, augers, front loader, track mobile, tractors, hopper mixer, forklift, and hand toolsAble to read and interpret labels, gauges, plat maps, weigh tickets, batch tickets, blend tickets, work orders, and equipment manualsStrong verbal communication skills; able to speak effectively with customers and employeesBasic math skills including proportions, volumes, and percentagesWhy Join Us?Full-time employees receive a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your health, finances, and future.Paycheck for life: Cooperative pension plan, plus 401(k) with traditional and Roth optionsComprehensive health coverage: Medical, dental, and vision insurance, supplemental plans, and FSA/HSA spending accountsPaid time off: Vacation and sick leave to rest and rechargeUniform & boot allowances: Annual allowances so you're always equipped and ready360 Wellness Program: Whole-person wellness with real incentivesSign-on & referral bonuses: Get rewarded for joining and for bringing great people with youAdditional benefits available — ask us for details.
