Lifeguard

Aquatic Facility Safety Supervisor Ensures the safety of patrons of an aquatic facility by preventing and responding to emergencies. Maintain constant surveillance of patrons in the facility; act immediately and appropriately to secure safety of patrons in the event of emergency. Provide emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services. Present professional appearance and attitude at all times and maintain a high standard of customer service. Perform various maintenance duties as directed to maintain a clear and safe facility. Prepare and maintain appropriate activity reports. Qualifications: American Red Cross CPF for the Professional Rescuer, or the equivalent. American Red Cross Lifeguard Training and First Aid, or the equivalent. Must be at least 15 years old. Must have at least six months experience or prove your competency in the duties and responsibilities specified. Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations. Skill in the application of lifeguarding surveillance and rescue techniques. Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork. Knowledge of CPR and emergency medical procedures. Ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions. Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures. Schedule: 3-4 hours per day 1-6 days per week (based on availability and schedule needs) Shift range from starting as early as 5:30am and ending as late as 8:30pm, Monday through Saturday Schedule is flexible Compensation: Range is from $14.31 - $16.76/hr. depending on years of relative work experience.
