About the Role

PRN/On-Call caregivers provide coverage for scheduled shifts, caregiver call-outs, vacations, and changes in client care needs. This flexible position is ideal for caregivers looking for a flexible schedule while making a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and individuals who wish to remain safely and independently in their homes.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality care to seniors and individuals in their homes

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including dressing, transfers, shower assistance, and light housekeeping

• Assist with errands, transportation to appointments, and other daily activities

• Provide companionship and emotional support

• Build positive, trusting relationships with clients and their families

• Communicate effectively with families, care team members, and other healthcare professionals

• Follow individualized care plans and promote client safety, dignity, and independence

  Qualifications

• Previous experience assisting seniors with activities of daily living (ADLs) preferred

• Compassionate, trustworthy, dependable, honest, and reliable

• Valid driver's license and auto insurance

• Good driving record

• Ability to pass state and federal criminal background checks

• Professional references
