Low Voltage Technician Structured Cabling

Responsibilities:
- Pull, route, terminate, dress, and label Category cable (CAT5e/CAT6/CAT6A)
- Perform structured cabling installations in commercial environments
- Test and troubleshoot installed cabling using Fluke or similar certification testers
- Punch down voice and data jacks, patch panels, and termination points
- Install racks, patch panels, cable trays, cabinets, MDF/IDF spaces, and pathways
- Safely operate lifts and work at heights as required
- Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and cable layouts
- Maintain proper cable management and installation standards
- Support additional low voltage systems as needed
Requirements:
- Must be a Level 1 or Level 2 Low Voltage Technician
- Experience with Category cable pulling and structured cabling installations required
- Previous commercial/industrial low voltage experience required
- Valid lift certification required
- Experience operating aerial lifts required
- Knowledge of CAT5e/CAT6/CAT6A cabling, pathways, and cable management
- Ability to read and follow blueprints and system layouts
- Basic hand tools and PPE required (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots)
- BICSI and OSHA certifications a plus
- Working knowledge of telecom/data networks preferred
- Must be available to work MondayFriday, 12-hour shifts
