Make a significant impact in the lives of students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist in a vibrant elementary school setting. This opportunity is for an onsite professional to cover a 12-week maternity leave, supporting about 50 students from PreK through fourth grade. The role provides a chance to work closely with a supportive community of educators and help children overcome communication challenges during a pivotal time in their education.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current SLP State License and valid Educator Certificate required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Experience working in school settings (elementary preferred)
• Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Comfortable managing a diverse caseload, providing both direct and consultative services
• Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and evolving student needs

Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language assessments for PreK-4th grade students
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with faculty and families
• Deliver direct therapy services and document clinical outcomes
• Engage in team meetings and contribute to student support strategies
• Maintain accurate records in accordance with school and state policies
• Communicate progress and recommendations to families and staff
• Work onsite throughout the assignment period; part-time availability will be considered
