Operations Manager

About the Role:

The Operations Manager in our aerospace manufacturing facility will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of production to ensure compliance with stringent aerospace standards. This role demands a strategic leader who can manage complex metal fabrication processes while maintaining high levels of workplace safety and operational efficiency. The successful candidate will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage warehouse operations, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to meet production targets and quality benchmarks. Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management within the aerospace manufacturing industry.
• Demonstrated knowledge of aerospace standards and regulatory requirements.
• Proven experience managing metal fabrication and production processes.
• Strong understanding of workplace safety regulations and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Engineering Management or Business Administration.
• Certification in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement methodologies.
• Experience with advanced warehouse management systems and logistics coordination.
• Previous leadership experience in a unionized manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with aerospace quality management systems such as AS9100.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily production activities to meet aerospace industry standards and customer specifications.
• Oversee metal fabrication processes, ensuring precision and quality control throughout manufacturing stages.
