Shifts: Call required - 6 shifts for each 8-week time block to include weekends and holidays


Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Surgical Technologist for a travel assignment in Rochester, NY. This opportunity is ideal for a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with a strong background in surgical procedures, especially in the general operating room and laparoscopic-assisted cases. The position requires expertise across various specialties, contributing to a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities of the Surgical Technologist
  • Assist in various surgical procedures, including but not limited to gastric bypass, thoracic surgeries, and orthopedic procedures
  • Maintain knowledge of decontamination and sterilization processes and indicators
  • Ensure adherence to aseptic techniques and universal protocols
  • Handle and label specimens accurately
  • Observe strict adherence to sharps safety protocols
Requirements of the Surgical Technologist
  • CST certification required, unless experience in NY as a tech prior to 2015
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience preferred
  • Experience with EPIC charting system preferred
  • Experience in trauma level II environments preferred
