Overview Tax Senior Associate - Tax (Business Management) USA: Atlanta, GA| Hybrid OR Century City, LA | Hybrid Job Details MGO's Atlanta office is looking for a professional and organized Senior Tax Associate to join the Business Management team! The candidate will perform day-to-day full-charge bookkeeping functions for high profile and exciting clients in the entertainment industry along with completing any assigned work given by Managers/Supervisors. This role requires client facing and hands-on experience. We will also consider candidates based in the Century City, LA area. Core Responsibilities Prepare and review close outs, tax returns, etc. Supervises the engagement (job) project management, ensures QC (technical) standards along with Tax Manager Takes care of the client (meets deadlines, timely communication) Develops engagement team (prepares associates to the next level Understand and be able to explain the reasons behind the firm’s policies, procedures and practices and project management techniques. Possess technical knowledge sufficient to supervise lower level associates. Qualifications Minimum of 2, but typically 3 +, years of experience in public accounting. Bachelor’s Degree in accounting OR Bachelor’s Degree plus requisite accounting coursework. Ability to be flexible in changing work priorities and handle numerous projects at the same time. Ability to act in a responsive manner to client inquires and requests; escalate the more difficult issues as necessary. Proven ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Experience with corporate taxation, individual taxation, close-outs for loan out corporations servicing the entertainment industry Experience with Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook), Adobe Acrobat, CCH Prosystems and Datafaction is a plus Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 LI-Hybrid #J-18808-Ljbffr MGO (Macias Gini & O'Connell LLP)
