Job Summary

The Intern Program Manager, Early Careers will design, build, and operationalize a scalable global internship framework that helps early-career talent do meaningful work, grow their capabilities, and see how their contributions matter. Reporting to the Director, Early Talent Programs, this role will establish consistent program standards while flexing to meet local market, university, legal, cultural, and business needs. The role will partner across Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, HR, business leaders, and local program teams to create a high-quality intern experience that strengthens Acuity’s early-career pipeline and supports future workforce needs.

This role is ideal for someone who loves building programs that help people grow and who enjoys creating structure, connection, and impact through great execution. The Intern Program Manager will help ensure internships are treated as a strategic talent pipeline—not ad hoc temporary support—by enabling real project ownership, consistent manager expectations, clear feedback checkpoints, strong intern engagement, and measurable program outcomes.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

• Design, implement, and continuously improve a scalable global internship framework that creates meaningful work, capability building, and business impact.
• Partner with the Director, Early Talent Programs and local HR, Talent Acquisition, business leaders, and program owners to align enterprise standards with local market needs and workforce priorities.
• Manage the internship lifecycle, including demand planning, role profiles, recruiting coordination, onboarding, learning events, evaluations, conversion discussions, offboarding, and post-program analysis.
• Create and maintain program materials, templates, communications, manager guides, intern resources, and evaluation tools that support a consistent and engaging experience.
• Design program touchpoints that help interns build relationships, receive feedback, gain business exposure, and connect their work to Acuity’s strategy, customers, and future career opportunities.
• Enable managers to set goals, provide feedback, evaluate performance, and connect intern contributions to meaningful business outcomes.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition on university engagement, campus programming, candidate experience, and employer brand activation.
• Own intern conversion strategy, including pipeline reviews, readiness assessments, high-potential talent identification, and transitions into full-time or rotational opportunities.
• Track program metrics and translate results into dashboards, insights, and recommendations that inform workforce planning, program investment, and early talent strategy.
• Monitor early-career trends and local lessons learned to strengthen program relevance, scalability, quality, and long-term impact.

Skills and Minimum Experience Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Education, Organizational Development, Communications, or a related field preferred.
• At least 3–5 years of experience in early careers, university recruiting, talent acquisition, HR program management, learning programs, or related talent programs.
• Experience supporting internships, co-ops, rotational programs, campus recruiting, or other early-career initiatives preferred.
• Strong program management skills with the ability to manage timelines, stakeholders, deliverables, and multiple workstreams in an evolving environment.
• Ability to build scalable program standards that can be applied globally while adapting to local market, legal, cultural, academic, and business needs.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and coordinate across HR, Talent Acquisition, business leaders, managers, and local teams.
• Comfort using data, dashboards, surveys, and program metrics to evaluate outcomes and recommend improvements.
• Experience building, scaling, or improving talent programs, including manager enablement, program materials, communications, tools, and change adoption.
• Passion for creating experiences where people feel connected to the work, supported in their growth, and able to contribute in meaningful ways.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting early-career, university relations, employer brand, or conversion strategies across multiple stakeholder groups or geographies.
• Experience creating program resources such as manager guides, intern communications, onboarding materials, surveys, dashboards, or toolkits.
• Comfort working with HR systems, applicant tracking systems, learning platforms, survey tools, or program management tools.
• Familiarity with early-career benchmarks and best practices, including NACE resources, preferred.

The range for this position is $85,700.00 to $185,400.00 USD. Placement within this range may vary, depending on the applicant’s experience and geographic location.
