Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 1930-0600 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: RN State License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, AWHONN, NRP, CPI Must-Have: Experience in Labor and Delivery. Current RN License. Active Certifications. Description: The Labor and Delivery RN provides care to women during labor and childbirth. The RN will assist in the delivery of infants and offer postpartum care. The position requires assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. The RN will collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure positive outcomes for mothers and babies. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential in this role. The RN will also support family education and provide emotional support during the childbirth process. Adherence to safety and infection control protocols is mandatory. The successful candidate must demonstrate expertise in fetal monitoring and labor assessments. Participation in continuous education and professional development is expected. A commitment to upholding the highest standards of nursing practice is required.
