This role follows a hybrid schedule with three onsite days per week and focuses on AWS cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, security, and operational excellence across mission-critical systems. The engineer will support a large-scale cloud modernization effort involving the migration of critical applications and data from on-premises environments to AWS. Responsibilities include building and optimizing cloud-native infrastructure, maintaining security and compliance controls, implementing Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, strengthening observability capabilities, supporting disaster recovery initiatives, and troubleshooting complex production issues within highly regulated environments.
