CNC Programmer (2nd or 3rd Shift)

We are seeking an individual who is responsible, who thrives in a team environment and is seeking longevity in a workplace. Must be versatile and work with very little supervision./ph3Key Responsibilities:/h3ulliDevelops CNC programs for various types of machines/liliEstablishes appropriate machining methods and tool sequences./liliConducts machine cycle time studies/liliWorks with the quality department and machine operators to ensure quality parts/liliSelects the type cutting tools to use along with the speeds and feeds/liliPrograms complex parts from a blueprint/liliAssists machinists with set up, part issues, inspection, etc./liliCreates tool sheets and set up instructions with each CNC Program/liliRecommends necessary work holding and tooling/liliAssists in the evaluation and development of manufacturing processes by studying product requirements and researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment/liliAssists machine operators with process or tooling issues, recommending necessary work holding and tooling used in manufacturing./liliAnalyzes and solves process and tool-related problems, ensuring or increasing productivity./li/ulpKnowledge, skill, experience, and minimum education required:/pulliMinimum of 10+ years of CNC machining/liliSoftware programming using Mastercam/liliAbility to use measuring instruments (gauges, micrometers, calipers)/liliAbility to read and interpret blueprints/liliAbility to read and understand GM programming codes/liliA solid understanding of CAD/liliKnowledgeable in GDT/li/ul/div
