Inventory Control Specialist

Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a dedicated Inventory Control Specialist to join their client's dynamic team in California. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a thriving manufacturing environment, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of inventory management processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Process inventory transactions including receipts, adjustments, scrap, and work tickets.
• Perform cycle counts, physical inventory counts, and inventory reconciliations.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and stock variances.
• Support production by recording material conversions and manufacturing activity.
• Create and close work tickets for make-to-stock production items.
• Maintain traceability of steel coils and generate identification tags.
• Upload and maintain mill certificates and product documentation.
• Manage inventory transfers between warehouse locations and off-site storage.
• Maintain inventory valuation reports and support monthly reporting.
• Collaborate with purchasing, warehouse, and production teams to ensure material availability.
• Assist with inventory process improvements and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience working with inventory systems, ERP, or warehouse management systems.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with production, purchasing, and warehouse teams.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience with manufacturing or industrial environments preferred.
• Experience with Sage 100 ERP is a plus.

Required Work Hours

Monday to Friday, 1st shift.

Additional Details

Pay Range: $26 - $30 per hour
