The client is a long-term, low-cost provider of American-produced liquefied natural gas. The company’s two Louisiana-based export projects service the global demand for North American natural gas and support the long‑term development of clean and reliable North American energy supplies. Using reliable, proven technology in an innovative plant design configuration, their modular, mid‑scale plant design will replace traditional designs as it allows for the same efficiency and operational reliability at significantly lower capital cost.

About the role
The Senior Cost Analyst will provide oversight to project activities and is responsible for achieving safe, cost effective, timely and contractually compliant project results. The Cost Analyst will report to the Senior Vice President of Project Controls and site Project Controls Manager.

About you

• To be successful in this role you must have oil and gas experience as well as a minimum of five (5) years’ experience working in an engineering capacity in an industrial setting in engineering or operations.
• A bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering is also required.
• Experience in key aspects of process engineering from conceptual design, economics, detailed engineering, plant startup, operations, and troubleshooting.
• Exhibit excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Possess effective computer skills; Microsoft Office software, and discipline specific software applications: HYSYS, Aspen Plus, etc.
