Job Details:

• Monday through Friday schedule, 7:40am to 4:40pm, with no holidays and no call coverage required
• Appointment lengths of 15-20 minutes with time blocked for lunch from 12:00pm to 1:00pm
• Combination of in-clinic and virtual patient visits
• Approximately 24-32 patient encounters per shift
• Evaluate, diagnose, treat, and provide consultation to patients of all ages with benign and malignant disorders of the integumentary system, including the epidermis, dermis, subcutaneous tissue, hair, nails, mouth, external genitalia, and cutaneous glands, as well as sexually transmitted diseases
• Diagnose and treat skin cancers, moles, and other tumors of the skin
• Manage contact dermatitis, allergic and non-allergic skin disorders, and skin manifestations of systemic and infectious diseases
• Manage cosmetic disorders of the skin such as hair loss, scars, and age-related skin changes
• Interpret specially prepared tissue sections, cellular scrapings, and smears of skin lesions using routine and special methods including electron and fluorescent techniques
• Perform simple excisions and repairs, skin and nail biopsies, dermatologic surgery, electrosurgery, and cryosurgery
• Outpatient clinical setting only; no inpatient, no Mohs surgery, and no cosmetic surgery
• Equipment provided includes DAX AI, Essentia Health phone, webcam and headset, DermLite, and Hyfrecators
• Board certification required; credentialing timeframe approximately 45-120 days
• Active Minnesota medical license required; no additional certification requirements (ACLS, BLS, PALS not required)
• Ongoing availability preferred with multiple date ranges available beginning November 2026

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
