Job Title

Travel RN – Emergency Room (Night Shift, 16-Week Holiday Coverage)

Location

Asheville, NC | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 16 Weeks | Night Shift | 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting during night shift hours
• Assess, triage, and monitor patients presenting with a wide range of emergent and urgent conditions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in North Carolina or a compact state
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Ability to commit to a 16-week travel contract beginning on or around October 19, 2026

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an emergency department setting
• Experience with high-volume or Level I/II trauma center environments
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems commonly used in acute care settings
