This position will offer you the capacity to apply your knowledge and expertise toward supporting quality health services and patient care.Responsibilities:Dispense medications to patients and interpret IV admixture orders and prepare primary IV/solutionsManufacture nonstandard pharmaceutical preparations when required and maintain appropriate recordsSupervise support personnel and assumes responsibility for final check of all completed workAssist in the inspection of all pharmaceutical supplies on all servicesProvide for the safe and accurate provision of pharmaceutical care serviceRequirements:Completion of an ASHP accredited pharmacy residency preferredLicensed as a pharmacist in the State of WashingtonMinimum one (1) year of pharmacy experience preferred in setting appropriate to work assignment (hospital, retail, clinic or other)Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart AssociationMultiCare Capital Medical Center is a 107-bed community hospital providing award-winning care to Olympia and surrounding communities. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
