Job Summary:
A Step Down Unit Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in Indianapolis, Indiana. This role involves caring for surgical patient populations including post open heart, heart transplant, left ventricular assist device (LVAD), leg bypass, rib resections, and pneumonectomy cases. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Location: Indianapolis, Indiana
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Licensure as a registered nurse; extensive experience with surgical patient populations; prior VAD (Ventricular Assist Device) experience and certification; ability to care for post open heart, heart transplant, LVAD, leg bypass, rib resections, and pneumonectomy patients
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in telemetry care and additional certifications related to surgical or cardiac nursing
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Must have extensive experience with surgical patient population and telemetry. Must have prior VAD experience and certification.
