Please do not hesitate to apply, as you may be the right fit for this position or another position we have open.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in accounting or related field requiredEssential Functions and Primary DutiesLead engagements, review provider cost reports, analyze health care provider financial information, and perform reimbursement calculationsIndependently perform various analyses and audits relating to Medicaid engagementsMentor and train staff accountantsProvide quality assurance reviews on audit working papers and reports completed by other team members as well as self-reviewConduct research in order to determine billing and reimbursement compliance with relevant Medicaid or other government program regulationsCoordinate staffing on projectsReview applicable Federal and State Medicaid policies and regulations relating to healthcare reimbursementReview working papers to document scope and findings of audit in accordance with Medicaid or other government program regulations and AICPA standardsWork with the defined scope of the projectCommunicate verbally and in writing with all levels of the organization, both internally and externallyMaintain security of and confidentiality of all protected health informationAdditional responsibilities as assignedPreferred QualificationsMaster's degree in accounting or related fieldCPA, or CPA candidate3 years' experience in healthcare analytics/auditing, public accounting, or related fieldExperience with Medicare and Medicaid cost reporting1 year of supervisory experienceExperience running audit engagementsFamiliarity with database and report writingStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize assignmentsStrong verbal and written communication skillsPosting Date: 2026-07-13
