Position Highlights:

In our organization, Internal Medicine physicians are responsible for examining adult patients aged 18 and older to provide appropriate care, prevent diseases, diagnose conditions, and facilitate treatment and recovery. They also order necessary medical tests, conduct follow-up appointments, and refer patients to specialists as required. Our physicians have full access to various sub-specialists, imaging, laboratory services, patient education, and more within our system. Additionally, they interpret basic medical tests and imaging to plan effective care for patients. We utilize the EPIC electronic health record system across our organization, which is crucial for seamless collaboration.

As part of our team, you will see patients in the office from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. Internal Medicine physicians receive support from nursing and administrative staff. Depending on your assigned call group, you will take periodic hospital calls, admitting only patients from our organization. Typically, overnight hospital stays are not required, as certain call groups have nocturnists managing overnight admissions.

Required Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited training program in the United States.
• Valid medical license in the State of Texas.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible.

Compensation for this specialty typically ranges from $238,500 to $392,500. Total cash compensation includes base salary and bonuses, influenced by various factors such as local labor markets, education, work experience, and may increase over time based on productivity and performance. We adhere to all applicable minimum wage laws.
