Surgical Tech II
LiveWell Homecare Agency
Under supervision of a Registered Nurse and/or Physician, performs specialized technical duties in surgical or procedural settings. Assists the surgical team by using equipment and instrumentation to ensure a safe operating environment, availability, and proper functioning of equipment. Qualifications High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent Completion of an accredited Surgical Technician program Experience Preferred: One year of experience as a Surgical Technician Certification/Licensure Surgical Technician Certification by The National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting* or Surgical Technician Certification by the National Center for Competency Testing* or United States Military or Public Health Service Surgical Technology Program* *Only one certification is required Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (must be obtained within ninety days of start date) #J-18808-Ljbffr
