Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with 2+ years of acute care experience for a 13-week travel assignment at a Level II Trauma Center, with Epic EMR experience required.

Details

• Short-term acute care hospital setting with 379 staffed beds, designated as a Level II Trauma Center
• PT Acute Care Hospital unit with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours (8:00–17:00)
• No on-call, weekend, or block schedule requirements
• Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in termination of assignment

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care physical therapy experience required
• Active PT license required if applicable
• Epic EMR experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Minimal RTO is expected; any time-off requests should be disclosed upfront, as post-offer requests may be denied
• Scrubs required; licensed personnel should wear solid navy blue scrub attire (print tops are not acceptable)
• Free parking is available in designated employee/visitor surface parking lots
• This is a reduced non-billable orientation position with 0 hours of non-billable orientation
