Duties

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including utensils, equipment, and food storage areas.
• Assist in the management of inventory by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages or discrepancies.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during peak hours.
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Participate in the training of new kitchen staff as needed.

Skills

• Proficient in food preparation techniques, with experience in various cooking methods.
• Familiarity with restaurant operations, including knowledge of dietary aide practices and fine dining standards.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong knife skills for effective food preparation.
