Job Description Job Description Ultrasound Tech - Traveler- PM SHIFT 7AM- 3:30PM Preference given to candidates available for a full schedule through the end of January and the first week of February. Day shift, 12-hour shifts. Start date: 1/17. Minimum compliance requirements must be met prior to starting; full compliance profile must be completed within two weeks after the start date. Position is Per Diem for 26 weeks. Required Compliance Items: Active nursing license verification BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications as applicable Proof of MMR and Varicella vaccination or attestation of vaccination/declination ultrasound sonographeruses high-frequency sound waves to create images of a patient's internal organs, tissues, and blood vessels for diagnostic purposes, working closely with physicians to help diagnose and treat medical conditions.Their duties include performing patient exams, operating and maintaining ultrasound equipment, analyzing image quality, and summarizing findings for physicians, often specializing in areas like obstetrics, vascular, cardiac, or musculoskeletal ultrasound. What Sonographers Do Education • Required: Associate’s Degree • Preferred Bachelor’s Degree Licensure/Certification • Required: Graduate of an ARDMS approved program or equivalent, in the specialty of Breast and a current CPR card. ARRT (BS) will be accepted with 5+ years of experience in Breast Ultrasound. • Preferred: Graduate of an ARDMS approved program or equivalent, in the specialty of Breast and a current CPR card. Experience • Required: 2 years’ experience in breast ultrasound Specific Skills, Knowledge, Abilities Required • Excellent communication skills, customer focused high attention to detail, able to prioritize tasks and meet any deadlines, able to work in a team environment with the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
