Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Operating Room (OR) Nurse The healthcare provider located in the region is seeking a skilled OR nurse to join the team for a contract assignment. The role involves supporting operative procedures, maintaining aseptic techniques, and ensuring readiness of the operating room environment. The position requires a licensed registered nurse with experience in intraoperative patient care. Job Details Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state/district graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program, with at least 3 years of experience. Preferably holding a BSN. Required certifications: PALS, BLS, and ACLS. Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week, with on-call duties consisting of 4 shifts of 12 hours in an 8-week schedule period. Responsibilities include scrubbing and/or circulating duties for operative procedures, preparing the operating room, assembling equipment and supplies, and serving as a communication liaison with patients, families, and the surgical team. Experience in the operating room specialty is required. Float: Float rotation may be required.
