Registered Nurse (RN) - Night ShiftNight shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week.This is a 13-week contract position.The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for maintaining the delivery of quality care by ensuring that the nursing care plan is followed. The RN supervises Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and orientees, promoting a safe and effective work environment.Responsibilities:Conduct nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission.Collaborate with patients/family and the interdisciplinary team to identify teaching needs and goals.Provide timely patient information and status updates for care conferences.Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and promptly.Participate in the patient rehabilitation program, focusing on the nursing process.Initiate discharge planning and patient teaching from the day of admission.Communicate changes in patient status to ensure continuity of care.Provide direction, training, and supervision to ancillary nursing personnel.Ensure personal and environmental safety according to hospital policies.Contribute positively to unit functioning and team dynamics.Maintain communication with management regarding service needs and clinical training.Assume charge responsibilities as requested after the orientation period.Pursue professional development through continuing education and self-study.Prioritize and plan effectively to meet patient needs.Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:BLS Certification required prior to first shift.ACLS certification required prior to first shift (CIRH ONLY).Minimum two (2) years of bedside clinical experience required.Why ARMStaffing?Health Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and moreOnboarding Made Easy: We handle physicals, titers, and more so you can focus on careClinical Support: In-house clinical team available to assist and advocate401k Retirement Plan: Eligible after waiting period; 4% match with 5% contributionRecruiter Matching: Get paired with a recruiter based on your location and specialtyExtras: Travel reimbursement, housing allowance, meals, referral bonuses, and moreWe're not the only ones who think ARMStaffing should be your first choice.
