Server Assistant

Spoon and Stable

Spoon and Stable (located in the North Loop area of Downtown Minneapolis) is looking for a Server Assistant who embodies the restaurant's culture of genuine hospitality. Server Assistant/Food Runners are responsible for the quick, careful, and knowledgeable delivery of every dish to our guests, and for providing assistance to the server and bartender teams.
Core Responsibilities:
Delivering all dishes from the kitchen to the dining room, bar, and private dining rooms
Describing dishes confidently and accurately
Clearing and resetting tables
Polishing dining room mise en place and restocking service stations throughout the night
Must be available Sunday (AM or PM)
Required Skill Set and Knowledge:
Ability to think and communicate clearly in high pressure situations
In depth knowledge of menu, ingredients, and cooking techniques
Confidence in communicating with guests.
Ability to stand on your feet for up to 10-12 hours
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Benefits:
Paid time off (PTO) is accrued at a rate of 1 hour per 30 hours worked and is available for use as soon as it is accrued.
