Marketing Project Manager (Beauty & E-commerce)

About Ilona Beauty

Ilona Beauty is a growing direct-to-consumer beauty brand dedicated to creating exceptional products and customer experiences. As we continue to expand, we're looking for a highly organized, creative, and AI-savvy Marketing Project Manager to help transform ideas into well-executed marketing initiatives.

This is not a traditional project management role.

You'll become the operational hub of our marketing efforts, working directly with the Founder to coordinate projects across marketing, e-commerce, creative, website development, product launches, and customer acquisition initiatives.

As you become familiar with our brand, you'll gradually take on greater ownership of campaigns and strategic initiatives.

Marketing Project Management

Lead multiple marketing initiatives from concept through execution. Build and maintain project timelines, marketing calendars, and campaign schedules. Coordinate designers, developers, freelancers, agencies, and other creative partners.

• Ensure projects stay on schedule and proactively remove bottlenecks.

Prioritize initiatives based on business impact and available resources. Keep stakeholders aligned through clear communication and follow-up.

Marketing & Campaign Execution

Coordinate product launches, promotions, seasonal campaigns, and website updates. Assist in developing campaign concepts and marketing strategies.

• Support email marketing planning and execution.

Help improve customer acquisition, retention, and lifecycle marketing.

• Monitor campaign performance and recommend improvements.

Creative & Content Coordination

• Develop creative briefs and project requirements.

Collaborate closely with designers and developers throughout project execution. Help ensure all creative work aligns with our brand voice and business objectives.

• Assist with marketing messaging and campaign copy.

UGC & Creator Management

• Coordinate User Generated Content (UGC) creators and influencer projects.
• Develop creative briefs and campaign guidelines.
• Manage creator communication and timelines.
• Review deliverables to ensure alignment with campaign objectives.

AI & Workflow Optimization

We're looking for someone who embraces modern AI tools as part of their daily workflow. You should be comfortable using platforms such as Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, or similar tools to:

• Develop marketing copy
• Brainstorm campaign ideas
• Improve project documentation
• Conduct marketing research
• Increase productivity
• Streamline marketing workflows
• Shopify optimization
• Klaviyo email marketing
• Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)
• Product launch planning
• Influencer marketing
• UGC campaign management
• Canva
• Figma
• Social media campaign coordination
• Marketing analytics

What Success Looks Like

Within your first several months, you'll become the central point of coordination for our marketing initiatives.

Success means you can:

Translate business goals into actionable marketing plans. Create clear project briefs and realistic timelines. Keep multiple projects moving simultaneously. Coordinate execution across internal and external teams. Recommend marketing improvements and best practices.

• Help the Founder focus on strategy rather than day-to-day project coordination.

Bring structure, accountability, and momentum to every initiative.

Compensation
