SUMMARY:Responsible for the loading and unloading of material and/or finished goods, stacking full and empty bins and drums, transportation of raw material to and from designated areas, and following established sanitation and safety procedures.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Other duties may be assigned. All the following are to be performed while adhering to Tree Top operational policies, safety rules, procedures and good manufacturing practices. It is the responsibility of every employee at Tree Top Inc. to report food safety and food quality problems or risks to personnel with the authority to initiate action against these said possible risks. This is a representative sample--not to imply a complete listing of all responsibilities and tasks.Lot location inventoryChecks equipment prior to shift on a daily basis and completes equipment check list.Responsible for the loading and unloading of trucks with raw material and empty bins or drums.Transportation of raw material to and from designated areas.Cleans fruit storage areas when necessary.Responsible for forklift fueling and cleaning proceduresResponsible for ensuring that bins have tags and are not mixed with unlike varietiesComplies with all established PPE, GMP, Sanitation and Safety policies and proceduresMay be required to perform other duties as assigned by lead or supervisor without use of a forkliftAbility to complete appropriate check lists and reports.Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructionsAbility to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:Current driver's license and DMV report that meet the requirements of our insurance agencyMust also complete a forklift safety training course PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The actual salary offer will consider various factors, such as experience and, if applicable, location. Tree Top provides a weekly payroll.
